The Presidio Chapel at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park is a faithful reconstruction of Santa Barbara’s first church. Using authentic materials and building techniques of early California’s Spanish Colonial architecture, it is truly a unique space for your wedding, christenings, funerals, community gatherings, lectures, concerts, and church services.
Casa de la Guerra
Casa de la Guerra is an icon of Santa Barbara's Spanish-Mexican heritage and offers one of the most charming outdoor courtyards in all of Santa Barbara. The Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation is pleased to offer the central courtyard for parties, receptions, concerts, festivals, fundraisers, plays, and more.
SBTHP recently completed the restoration of the historic Alhecama Theatre, which has had a continuous community use since its construction as the Pueblo Theatre in 1925. The beautiful interior, with its recently restored original oak floors, stage, and mural by American artist Ross Dickenson, is an ideal location for weddings, lectures, social gatherings, and theatre events.
