Community History Day

Join us at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park as we explore Santa Barbara’s multicultural history. There is something fun and educational for everyone at this free, family-friendly program! There will be hands-on learning stations, arts and crafts tables, booths from local organizations and history tours and exhibits that focus on the layered histories and communities of Santa Barbara’s Presidio Neighborhood over time.

  • “Meet the Muralist” at jimmy's Oriental Gardens with local artist & designer DJ Javier

  • Meet Saint Barbara 2024, Caroline Wedderburn, presented by Reina Del Mar Parlor #126, the
    Native Daughters of the Golden West

  • Presidio Neighborhood Walking Tour (meet at SBTHP's welcome table)

  • Historical Wedding Experience in the Presidio Chapel
