Join us for the fourth-annual Community History Day as we celebrate the vibrant cultures and layered stories that shape Santa Barbara’s Presidio Neighborhood.
This free, all-ages event brings history to life through hands-on activities, performances, and interactive exhibits—all set in the heart of El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park.
What to Expect:
– Hands-on learning stations and crafts for all ages
– Activity tables hosted by local cultural organizations
– Historical walking tours and interpretive exhibits
– Delicious eats from Okamoto Kitchen food truck
– Live performances and special appearances
Featuring:
– The 2025 Spirit and Junior Spirit of Fiesta: Natalia Treviño & Victoria Plascencia
– Traditional dance by Baile de California, directed by Diana Replogle-Purinton
– A special appearance by Saint Barbara 2025 Julie Romero Hathaway, presented by the Native Daughters of the Golden West Reina Del Mar Parlor 126
